Head of C++ Development Department

Victor Kotenev is a dedicated tech expert and head of C++ Development Department at SCAND. He started his career in 2001 and has since built deep expertise in .NET and C/C++, specializing in desktop applications, web applications using .NET, Microsoft Office add-ins, CAD tools, and embedded systems.

One of his standout creations is Outlook4Gmail, an Outlook add-in that synchronizes Google calendars, contacts, and tasks with Microsoft Outlook. It offers two-way sync across multiple accounts, secure connections, automatic backups, and conflict resolution.

Victor leads his team with a focus on practical usability and performance, guiding engineers in creating features that meet real-world workflows. He mentors developers on best practices in .NET and C/C++, oversees code quality and architecture, and works closely with users to make sure each product satisfies their demands.

I always try to build software that actually helps people get things done. If it’s not useful, it’s not finished.
